This study aimed to determine the influence of different harvest residue management strategies on tree growth, soil carbon (C) concentrations, soil nitrogen (N) availability and ecosystem C stocks 15 years after replanting second rotation Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata), an important plantation species in subtropical China.
