Laparoscopic cholecystectomy at the time of elective cesarean delivery eliminates the need for separate operations. Hand-assisted laparoscopy takes technical advantage of the cesarean abdominal incision to facilitate laparoscopic maneuvers with retention of pneumoperitoneum.
