Recently Grinstein, Jora, and Polosa have studied a theory of large-$$N$$N scalar quantum chromodynamics in one space and one time dimension. This theory admits a Bethe–Salpeter equation describing the discrete spectrum of quark–antiquark bound states. They consider gauge fields in the adjoint representation of $$SU(N)$$SU(N) and scalar fields in the fundamental representation. The theory is asymptotically free and linearly confining. The theory could possibly provide a good field theoretic…

Hamiltonian, Path Integral and BRST Formulations of the Vector Schwinger Model with a Photon Mass Term with Faddeevian Regularization

Recently (in a series of papers) we have studied the vector Schwinger model with a photon mass term describing one-space one-time dimensional electrodynamics with mass-less fermions in the so-called

Light-Front Quantization of the Vector Schwinger Model with a Photon Mass Term in Faddeevian Regularization

In this talk, we study the light-front quantization of the vector Schwinger model with photon mass term in Faddeevian Regularization, describing two-dimensional electrodynamics with mass-less

Light-front quantization with the light cone gauge

The Dirac procedure for dealing with constraints is applied to the quantization of gauge theories on the light front. The light cone gauge is used in conjunction with the first-class constraints that

Light-Front Quantization of the Restricted Gauge Theory of QCD2

In this talk we study the light-front quantization of the restricted gauge theory of QCD2à la Cho et al.

LFQ of large N scalar QCD2 with a Higgs potential

Recently Grinstein, Jora and Polosa have studied a model of large N scalar quantum chromodynamics in one-space one-time dimension. This model admits a Bethe–Salpeter equation describing the discrete

Light-front-quantized QCD in a covariant gauge

The light-front (LF) canonical quantization of quantum chromodynamics in covariant gauges is discussed. The Dirac procedure is used to eliminate the constraints in the gauge-fixed front form theory

Light-cone quantization of quantum chromodynamics

We discuss the light-cone quantization of gauge theories from two perspectives: as a calculational tool for representing hadrons as QCD bound-states of relativistic quarks and gluons, and also as a

Solving two-dimensional phi4 theory by discretized light-front quantization.

TLDR
It is found that finite-mass renormalization prevents the phase transition by restricting the theory to the weak-coupling region and estimate of the critical coupling for which the mass gap vanishes is obtained.

Light-front-quantized QCD in the light-cone gauge: The doubly transverse gauge propagator

The light-front (LF) quantization of QCD in the light-cone gauge has a number of remarkable advantages, including explicit unitarity, a physical Fock expansion, the absence of ghost degrees of

A Unitary and renormalizable theory of the standard model in ghost free light cone gauge

Light-front (LF) quantization in light-cone (LC) gauge is used to construct a unitary and simultaneously renormalizable theory of the Standard Model. The framework derived earlier for QCD is extended

Role of zero modes in quantization of QCD in light cone coordinates

Two-dimensional heavy-quark QCD is studied in the light-cone coordinates with (anti-) periodic field boundary conditions. We carry out the light-cone quantization of this gauge invariant model. To

LIGHT-FRONT-QUANTIZED QCD IN LIGHT-CONE GAUGE

The light-front (LF) quantization of QCD in light-cone (l.c.) gauge is discussed. The Dirac method is employed to construct the LF Hamiltonian and theory quantized canonically. The Dyson-Wick
