We establish a framework for calculating the Hagedorn temperature of AdS_{5}/CFT_{4} via integrability. Concretely, we derive the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations that yield the Hagedorn temperature of planar N=4 super Yang-Mills theory at any value of the 't Hooft coupling. We solve these equations perturbatively at weak coupling via the associated Y system, confirming the known results at tree level and one-loop order as well as deriving the previously unknown two-loop Hagedorn…
From Hagedorn to Lee-Yang: partition functions of $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM theory at finite N
We study the thermodynamics of the maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with gauge group U(N) on R x S^3, dual to type IIB superstring theory on AdS_5 x S^5. While both theories are well-known
A review of the AdS/CFT Quantum Spectral Curve
We give an introduction to the Quantum Spectral Curve in AdS/CFT. This is an integrability-based framework which provides the exact spectrum of planar N = 4 super Yang-Mills theory (and of the dual
Duality relations for overlaps of integrable boundary states in AdS/dCFT
Abstract The encoding of all possible sets of Bethe equations for a spin chain with SU(N|M) symmetry into a QQ-system calls for an expression of spin chain overlaps entirely in terms of Q-functions.
Structure constants in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM at finite coupling as worldsheet g-function
We develop a novel nonperturbative approach to a class of three-point functions in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM based on Thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz (TBA). More specifically, we study three-point
Toward an Analytic Perturbative Solution for the Abjm Quantum Spectral Curve
We recently showed how nonhomogeneous second-order difference equations that appear in describing the ABJM quantum spectral curve can be solved using a Mellin space technique. In particular, we
Submatrix deconfinement and small black holes in AdS
A bstractLarge N gauged multi-matrix quantum mechanical models usually have a first order Hagedorn transition, related to deconfinement. In this transition the change of the energy and entropy is of
Quantum spectral curve for the η-deformed AdS 5 × S 5 superstring
Nonrelativistic near-BPS corners of N=4 super-Yang-Mills with SU(1,1) symmetry
: We consider limits of N = 4 super Yang-Mills (SYM) theory that approach BPS bounds and for which an SU(1,1) structure is preserved. The resulting near-BPS theories become non-relativistic, with a
Continuum limit of fishnet graphs and AdS sigma model
A bstractWe consider the continuum limit of 4d planar fishnet diagrams using integrable spin chain methods borrowed from the N$$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 Super-Yang-Mills theory. These techniques give us

Matching the Hagedorn temperature in AdS/CFT correspondence
We match the Hagedorn/deconfinement temperature of planar N=4 super Yang-Mills (SYM) on RxS{sup 3} to the Hagedorn temperature of string theory on AdS{sub 5}xS{sup 5}. The match is done in a
The superstring Hagedorn temperature in a pp-wave background
The thermodynamics of type-IIB superstring theory in the maximally supersymmetric plane wave background is studied. We compute the thermodynamic partition function for non-interacting strings exactly
The spectrum of tachyons in AdS/CFT
A bstractWe analyze the spectrum of open strings stretched between a D-brane and an anti-D-brane in planar AdS/CFT using various tools. We focus on open strings ending on two giant gravitons with
Thermodynamic Bethe ansatz for planar AdS/CFT: a proposal
Moving from the mirror theory Bethe?Yang equations proposed by Arutyunov and Frolov, we derive the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations which should control the spectrum of the planar AdS5/CFT4
One-Loop Partition Functions in Deformed N = 4 SYM Theory
We study the thermodynamic behaviour of the real βand γi-deformation of N = 4 Super Yang-Mills theory on R×S in the planar limit. These theories were shown to be the most general asymptotically
Exact Spectrum of Anomalous Dimensions of Planar N = 4 Supersymmetric Yang–Mills Theory: TBA and excited states
An infinite set of integral non-linear equations for the spectrum of states/operators in AdS/CFT are derived and it is proved that all the kernels and free terms entering these TBA equations are real and have nice fusion properties in the relevant mirror kinematics.
Strings in RR plane wave background at finite temperature
We calculate the thermal partition function in the canonical ensemble for type IIB superstrings in the plane wave background with a constant null RR five-form. The Hagedorn temperature is found to be
