Single trial event-related potentials at Fz, Cz, Pz and Oz were measured concurrently with pupil reactions and skin conductance reactions in a habituation paradigm. One group of subjects (n = 16) was given 36 simple visual stimuli and a second group (n = 16) 36 complex visual stimuli of equal duration, brightness and dimensions.
