The Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument includes a wide range of slope, elevation, soil types, and historic management activities. Calochortus greenei occupies a wide range of habitats primarily defined by topographic and edaphic factors. Several environmental factors are confounded with patterns of livestock use, making it difficult to separate the influence of individual factors.
