}The concentrations of total mercury, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and organochlorine pesticides ( DDT, dieldrin, hexachlorobenzene [HCB], and HCH) were determined in 61 whale meat products (bacon, blubber, red meat, liver, intestine, and tongue) purchased from retail outlets across Japan.
