The granulocyte antigens HNA-1a, -1b, and -1c (formerly named NA1, NA2 and SH) which reside on the neutrophil FcgammaReceptor IIIb (FcgammaRIIIb) play a major role in immune neutropenias and pulmonary transfusion reactions.
