Human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) reactivation has been associated with acute graft-versus-host-disease (aGVHD), cytomegalovirus reactivation, and mortality after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), but previous studies have yielded inconsistent results.
