The radiotherapy of Hodgkin's disease is based on the knowledge of the topography of development and spread of the disease, and on the therapeutic properties and methods of application of mega volt therapy: 1. The clinical findings are: The disease begins in a localised area and spreads a) continually within the lymphatic system b) by local extralymphatic spread to neighbouring organs and c) by distant metastases.
