The growth of 80 strains of motile Aeromonas spp. derived from environments with temperatures above 25 degrees C and below 15 degrees C, respectively, were examined at five temperatures (5 degrees C, 10 degrees C, 25 degrees C, 37 degrees C and 44 degrees C) and four salt levels (0.05%, 2%, 4% and 6% NaCl). Sixty-one strains were further examined at two pH levels (pH 7.3 and pH 5.3).
