Spores of Equisetum arvense, Osmunda japonica, Pteris vittata, and Dryopteris varia were sown in Knop's solutions containing ~-mercaptoethanol, cysteine, bal, reduced glutathione, oxidized glutathione, cystine, dithiodiglycolic acid, and colchicine, and were incubated under constant illumination of white light at 1,2001ux.
