We study the phase diagram of the anisotropic spin-1 Heisenberg chain with single ion anisotropy (D) using a ground-state fidelity approach. The ground-state fidelity and its corresponding susceptibility are calculated within the quantum renormalization group scheme where we obtained the renormalization of fidelity preventing calculation of the ground state. Using this approach, the phase boundaries between the antiferromagnetic Néel, Haldane and large-D phases are obtained for the whole phase…
Quantum phase transition by employing trace distance along with the density matrix renormalization group
We use an alternative method to investigate the quantum criticality at zero and finite temperature using trace distance along with the density matrix renormalization group. It is shown that the
Quantum ground-state entanglement for spin-1/2 alternating Heisenberg model in one spatial dimension
Quantum entanglement for a one-dimensional quantum antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic spin-1/2 alternating Heisenberg chain is investigated by employing the infinite matrix product state representation.
Geometrically frustrated anisotropic four-leg spin-1/2 nanotube.
TLDR
A real space quantum renormalization group (QRG) is developed to explore a frustrated anisotropic four-leg spin-1/2 nanotube in the thermodynamic limit and shows that the anisotropy changes the magnetization curve and the phase transition points, significantly.
Renormalization of global entanglement and Bell nonlocality in the Ising model with a transverse field
TLDR
It is proved that the inherent block–block correlation is strong enough to violate the quantum nonlocality and an exact relation between global entanglement and Bell non Locality is derived for the given case.
Quantum phase transitions driven by rhombic-type single-ion anisotropy in the S = 1 Haldane chain
The spin-1 Haldane chain is an example of the symmetry-protected-topological (SPT) phase in one dimension. Experimental realization of the spin chain materials usually involves both the
Quantum entanglement and quantum phase transition of the spin-1 Heisenberg chain with single-ion anisotropy
Quantum entanglement and quantum phase transition of the spin-1 Heisenberg chain with single-ion anisotropy have been investigated by using the quantum renormalization group method. It is found that
Symmetry fractionalization: symmetry-protected topological phases of the bond-alternating spin-1/2 Heisenberg chain.
TLDR
The model exhibits trivial as well as symmetry-protected topological phases, and is investigated as the most general two-body bond-alternating spin-1/2 model, which respects the time-reversal, parity, and dihedral symmetries.
Quantum Renormalization of Spin Squeezing in Spin Chains
TLDR
This work investigates quantum phase transitions (QPT) in the Ising transverse field (ITF) model and in the XXZ Heisenberg model, with and without Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interaction, on a periodic chain of N lattice sites by employing quantum renormalization group (QRG) method.
Quantum entanglement and quantum phase transition for the Ising model on a two-dimension square lattice
The quantum entanglement and quantum phase transition of the transverse-field Ising model on a two-dimensional square lattice were investigated by applying the quantum renormalization group method.
Quantum renormalization of \({l_1}\)-norm and relative entropy of coherence in quantum spin chains
TLDR
It is found that after large number of QRG iterations, the coherence in the ground state develops two saturated values corresponding to two different phases and changes abruptly at a quantum critical point (QCP).

Quantum critical phase diagram of bond alternating Ising model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction: signature of ground state fidelity
We present the zero temperature phase diagram of the bond alternating Ising chain in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. An abrupt change in ground state fidelity is a signature of
Quantum renormalization group for ground-state fidelity
Ground-state fidelity (GSF) and quantum renormalization group (QRG) theory have proven to be useful tools in the study of quantum critical systems. Here we lay out a general, unified formalism of GSF
Accurate determination of the Gaussian transition in spin-1 chains with single-ion anisotropy
The Gaussian transition in the spin-one Heisenberg chain with single-ion anisotropy is extremely difficult to treat, both analytically and numerically. We introduce an improved DMRG procedure with
Ground-state phase diagram of S = 1 XXZ chains with uniaxial single-ion-type anisotropy
One-dimensional $S=1$ $\mathrm{XXZ}$ chains with uniaxial single-ion-type anisotropy are studied by numerical exact diagonalization of finite-size systems. The numerical data are analyzed using
Second order quantum renormalisation group of XXZ chain with next-nearest neighbour interactions
We have extended the application of quantum renormalisation group (QRG) to the anisotropic Heisenberg model with next-nearest neighbour (n-n-n) interaction. The second order correction has to be

We have studied the phase diagram of the one-dimensional $S=\frac{1}{2}$ $XXZ$ model with ferromagnetic nearest-neighbor and antiferromagnetic next-nearest-neighbor interactions. We have applied the

The anisotropic s=1/2 anti-ferromagnetic Heisenberg chain in the presence of an external magnetic field is studied by using the standard quantum renormalization group. We obtain the critical line of
Preroughening transitions in crystal surfaces and valence-bond phases in quantum spin chains.
TLDR
It is shown that disordered flat phases in crystal surfaces are equivalent to valence-bond-type phases in integer and half-integer spin quantum chains, and that these phases differ only in the mathematical formulation of broken symmetry in the spin representation.
