We describe coupled-cavity scheme to achieve ground-state cooling of mechanical motion in highly-unresolved sideband regimes. Through EIT lineshapes, both quantum Langevin and master equations confirm the quantum noise characteristics and achieve κ/ω<sub>m</sub> greater than 10<sup>4</sup>.
