The gross anatomy of the hindlimb of theGalago senegalenesis (Lesser Bushbaby) has been described. This description should be of particular value to comparative anatomists, anthropologists, kinesiologists and muscular physiologists who have an interest in nonhuman primates. Determination of the hindlimb skeletal and muscular systems may be of special relevance to those biologists interested in the biomechanics of muscular activity due to its natural mode of saltatory locomotion.
