The possible effect of urea hydrolysis on the availability of phosphorus (P) from phosphate rock (PR) was evaluated in two greenhouse experiments with maize, using two sources of PR — Pesca (Colombia) and Bayovar (Peru) — representing low and high chemical reactivity, respectively.
