  • The aim of this paper was to study the main ambient parameters inside a greenhouse with a modern wireless sensor network in order to reach the optimization of the production process. The research was carried out in a greenhouse sited in Balestrate (in the province of Palermo, Sicily); the crop was courgette; the plants showed a high density distribution so that their vegetation took up a large part of the greenhouse area.
