By using a high-precision LaCoste-Romberg gravimeter, continuous and precise measurements were carried out during the March 9, 1997 total solar eclipse in Mohe region in Northeast China. The gravity variations were digitally recorded during the total solar eclipse so as to investigate the possible anomaly of the Sun and the Moon's gravitational fields on the Earth. After the careful processing and analysis of the observed data, no significant anomaly during the very solar eclipse was found… Expand

Micro-gravity measurements during the total solar eclipse of 9 March 2016 in Indonesia
Since 1950s, several authors have reported the so-called anomalous gravity during the total solar eclipses through various experiments. To address this issue, in the moment of the total solar eclipseExpand
Geophysical Variations During the Total Solar Eclipse in 2006 in Turkey
It has been observed that some geophysical parameters could be changed during a solar eclipse. We have therefore measured gravity and magnetic fields during solar eclipses. We also measured theExpand
Is the Growth of the Astronomical Unit Caused by the Allais Eclipse Effect
In addition to the Pioneer anomaly and the Earth flyby anomaly for spacecraft, other unexplained anomalies disrupt the solar system dynamics, like the astronomical unit. We show in this paper thatExpand
The Wang Anomaly During a Total Solar Eclipse: an Electromagnetic Analysis
The gravity measurement of Qian-shen Wang during the total eclipse of the Sun on 9 March 1997 showed a strange diagram-shape over time. In this paper, I investigate this shape by setting up a simpleExpand
Solar Eclipse Anomalies and Wave Refraction
There is some inconclusive evidence that measurement devices sensitive to local gravitation exhibit anomalous behaviour during solar eclipses. We investigate if these findings can be incorporatedExpand
Influence of Partial Solar Eclipse 2016 on the surface gravity acceleration using photogate sensor on Kater's reversible pendulum
This study was conducted to determine the Earth's surface gravitational acceleration (g) prior to, during, and after a partial solar eclipse. Data was collected in Basic Physics LaboratoryExpand
Review on possible Gravitational Anomalies
This is an updated introductory review of 2 possible gravitational anomalies that has attracted part of the Scientific community: the Allais effect that occur during solar eclipses, and the PioneerExpand
A review of conventional explanations of anomalous observations during solar eclipses
Conventional explanations for observations of anomalous behaviour of mechanical systems during solar eclipses are critically reviewed. These observations include the work of Allais with paraconicalExpand
The Cause of the Allais Effect Solved
An Anisotropic Dark Flow Acceleration can solve the cause of the Allais Effect [1]. This claim is based on a kinematic analysis of 21 Allais Effect measurements. All measurements (without exception)Expand
Correlated anomalous effects observed during the August 1st 2008 solar eclipse
During the solar eclipse of 1 August 2008 three programs of physics observations were independently conducted by teams in Kiev, Ukraine, and Suceava, Romania, separated by about 440 km. The UkraineExpand

Anomalous gravity data during the 1997 total solar eclipse do not support the hypothesis of gravitational shielding
We present arguments that rule out the recent suggestion by Wang et al. that their observations of anomalous gravity data during the 1997 total solar eclipse in China could be evidence for shieldingExpand
Interpretation of the tidal residuals during the 11 July 1991 total solar eclipse
Abstract. Observations of gravity and atmospheric pressure variations during the total solar eclipse of 11 July 1991 in Mexico City are presented. An LCR-G402 gravimeter equipped with a feedbackExpand
Precise measurement of gravity variations during a total solar eclipse
The variations of gravity were measured with a high precision LaCoste-Romberg D gravimeter during a total solar eclipse to investigate the effect of a solar eclipse on the gravitational field. TheExpand

A 52-hour series of measurements with the JILAG-5 absolute gravimeter was made in order to look for variation in gravity, due to hypothetical shielding of the Sun's attraction by the Moon during theExpand
An Experiment Concerning Gravitational Shielding
Gravity observations during the solar eclipse of February 15, 1961, failed to detect an associated gravitational signal and indicated that the ‘Majorana gravitational absorption coefficient’ if any,Expand
