We discuss the prospects of gravitational lensing of gravitational waves (GWs) coming from core-collapse supernovae (CCSN). As the CCSN GW signal can only be detected from within our own Galaxy and the local group by current and upcoming ground-based GW detectors, we focus on microlensing. We introduce a new technique based on the analysis of the power spectrum and association of peaks of the power spectrum with the peaks of the amplification factor to identify lensed signals. We validate our…

The Gravitational Wave Signal from Core-collapse Supernovae
We study gravitational waves (GWs) from a set of two-dimensional multi-group neutrino radiation hydrodynamic simulations of core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe). Our goal is to systematize the current
Gravitational lensing of gravitational waves: A statistical perspective
In this paper, we study the strong gravitational lensing of gravitational waves (GWs) from a statistical perspective, with particular focus on the high frequency GWs from stellar binary black hole

We discuss the gravitational lensing of gravitational wave (GW) signals from coalescing binaries. We delineate the regime where wave effects are significant from the regime where geometric limit
The Gravitational Wave Signature of Core-Collapse Supernovae
We review the ensemble of anticipated gravitational-wave (GW) emission processes in stellar core collapse and postbounce core-collapse supernova evolution. We discuss recent progress in the modeling
Wave Effects in the Gravitational Lensing of Gravitational Waves from Chirping Binaries
In the gravitational lensing of gravitational waves, wave optics should be used instead of geometrical optics when the wavelength λ of the gravitational waves is longer than the Schwarzschild radius
Gravitational Wave Emission from Core Collapse of Massive Stars
We derive estimates for the characteristics of gravitational radiation from stellar collapse, using recent models of the core collapse of Chandrasekhar-massed white dwarfs (accretion-induced
Gravitational-wave signals from 3D supernova simulations with different neutrino-transport methods
We compare gravitational-wave (GW) signals from eight 3D simulations of core-collapse supernovae, using two different progenitors with zero-age main-sequence masses of 9 and 20 solar masses (M⊙).
Gravitational wave signals from 3D neutrino hydrodynamics simulations of core-collapse supernovae
We present gravitational wave (GW) signal predictions from four 3D multi-group neutrino hydrodynamics simulations of core-collapse supernovae of progenitors with 11.2 Msun, 20 Msun, and 27 Msun. GW
Characterizing the Gravitational Wave Signal from Core-collapse Supernovae
We study the gravitational wave signal from eight new 3D core-collapse supernova simulations. We show that the signal is dominated by $f$- and $g$-mode oscillations of the protoneutron star and its
Gravitational waves from supernova matter
We have performed a set of 11 three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamical (MHD) core-collapse supernova simulations in order to investigate the dependences of the gravitational wave signal on the
