We discuss the prospects of gravitational lensing of gravitational waves (GWs) coming from core-collapse supernovae (CCSN). As the CCSN GW signal can only be detected from within our own Galaxy and the local group by current and upcoming ground-based GW detectors, we focus on microlensing. We introduce a new technique based on the analysis of the power spectrum and association of peaks of the power spectrum with the peaks of the amplification factor to identify lensed signals. We validate our…

Gravitational-wave signals from 3D supernova simulations with different neutrino-transport methods
We compare gravitational-wave (GW) signals from eight 3D simulations of core-collapse supernovae, using two different progenitors with zero-age main-sequence masses of 9 and 20 solar masses (M⊙).

Gravitational Waves from Neutrino Emission Asymmetries in Core-collapse Supernovae
We present a broadband spectrum of gravitational waves from core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe) sourced by neutrino emission asymmetries for a series of full 3D simulations. The associated gravitational
Microlensing Optical Depth and Event Rate in the OGLE-IV Galactic Plane Fields
Searches for gravitational microlensing events are traditionally concentrated on the central regions of the Galactic bulge but many microlensing events are expected to occur in the Galactic plane,
Three-dimensional core-collapse supernova simulations of massive and rotating progenitors
We present three-dimensional simulations of the core-collapse of massive rotating and non-rotating progenitors performed with the general relativistic neutrino hydrodynamics code CoCoNuT-FMT and
Characterizing the Gravitational Wave Signal from Core-collapse Supernovae
We study the gravitational wave signal from eight new 3D core-collapse supernova simulations. We show that the signal is dominated by $f$- and $g$-mode oscillations of the protoneutron star and its
Constraining Properties of the Next Nearby Core-collapse Supernova with Multimessenger Signals
With the advent of modern neutrino and gravitational wave detectors, the promise of multi-messenger detections of the next galactic core-collapse supernova has become very real. Such detections will
Gravitational lensing of gravitational waves: wave nature and prospects for detection
We discuss the gravitational lensing of gravitational wave signals from coalescing binaries. We delineate the regime where wave effects are significant from the regime where geometric limit can be
Gravitational waves from 3D core-collapse supernova models: The impact of moderate progenitor rotation
We present predictions for the gravitational-wave (GW) emission of three-dimensional supernova (SN) simulations performed for a 15 solar-mass progenitor with the Prometheus-Vertex code using
