This paper reviews recent advances in the nanotube and graphene polymer composites synthesized in our laboratories for laser protection application, i.e., OL. We first discuss the mechanisms involved in the polymer nanocomposites for OL and the Z-scan technique used to measure the nonlinear optical properties of the materials in question.
