Graph drawing
@inproceedings{Tamassia2004GraphD, title={Graph drawing}, author={Roberto Tamassia and Giuseppe Liotta}, booktitle={Handbook of Discrete and Computational Geometry, 2nd Ed.}, year={2004} }
Graphs are widely used for information visualization purposes since they provide a natural intuitive representation of complex abstract structures. The automatic generation of drawings of graphs has applications to a variety of fields such as software engineering database systems graphical user interfaces. In this survey we overview graph drawing algorithms from a computational geometry perspective.
