Glucocorticoid hormone receptor mediated induction of metallothionein synthesis in HeLa cells.

Abstract

HeLa cells grown in chemically defined medium lacking glucocorticoids synthesize metallothioneins, low molecular-weight heavy-metal binding proteins.
