A method is developed to estimate global NO2 and SO2 dry deposition fluxes at high spatial resolution (0.1◦ × 0.1◦) using satellite measurements from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) on the Aura satellite, in combination with simulations from the Goddard Earth Observing System chemical transport model (GEOS-Chem).
