The aim of this paper is to study the local and the global thermodynamic properties of the 3-dimensional rotating Gauss-Bonnet BTZ black hole. We are interested in deriving the conditions for local and global thermodynamic stability of the solution in a given ensemble of state quantities. It is well-known that determining the local thermodynamic stability requires the calculation of the specific heats of the system. We identify the regions of stability for every physical specific heat together…

Thermodynamic information geometry and complexity growth of a warped AdS black hole and the warped AdS3/CFT2 correspondence
We study the thermodynamic properties of warped AdS$_3$ black hole within the framework of thermodynamic information geometry. Our analysis focuses on finding the set of proper thermodynamic
Hessian matrix, specific heats, Nambu brackets, and thermodynamic geometry
A bstractAs an extension to our earlier work [1], we employ the Nambu brackets to prove that the divergences of heat capacities correspond to their counterparts in thermodynamic geometry. We also
More on Massive 3D Gravity
We explore the space of static solutions of the recently discovered three-dimensional 'new massive gravity' (NMG), allowing for either sign of the Einstein-Hilbert term and a cosmological term
Rotating Gauss-Bonnet BTZ Black Holes
We obtain rotating black hole solutions to the novel 3D Gauss-Bonnet theory of gravity recently proposed. These solutions generalize the BTZ metric and are not of constant curvature. They possess an
The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity
We show that the large-N limits of certainconformal field theories in various dimensions includein their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes,

Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Gravity in Four-Dimensional Spacetime.
TLDR
A general covariant modified theory of gravity in D=4 spacetime dimensions which propagates only the massless graviton and bypasses Lovelock's theorem is presented and several appealing new predictions of this theory are reported.
Topologically Massive Gauge Theories
Gauge vector and gravity models are studied in three-dimensional space-time, where novel, gauge invariant, P and T odd terms of topological origin give rise to masses for the gauge fields. In the
Gauge/Gravity Duality: Foundations and Applications
Gauge/gravity duality creates new links between quantum theory and gravity. It has led to new concepts in mathematics and physics, and provides new tools to solve problems in many areas of
Massive gravity in three dimensions.
TLDR
The extension to massive N-extended supergravity is discussed, the "cosmological" extension that admits an anti-de Sitter vacuum is presented, and a more general model propagates the two spin-2 helicity states with different masses.
