SARCOMA complicating Paget's disease is a well-known, relatively common entity. Its incidence has been given as between 5% and 14%. 1 On the other hand, a giant cell tumor (osteoclastoma) arising within Paget's disease is extremely rare and not well documented. Its importance, however, should be recognized because sarcomas complicating Paget's disease have an extremely poor prognosis while giant cell tumors arising within Paget's are not as aggressive as giant cell tumors orginating again. 2… CONTINUE READING
