BACKGROUND There are few reports on the clinical appearance, prognosis, and risk factors for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in dogs. OBJECTIVE To describe the clinical characteristics of GDM in dogs. ANIMALS Thirteen dogs with GDM. METHODS Retrospective study.
