Germination of different wheat cultivars under salinity conditions.

Salinity effects were evaluated on seed germination of fourtheen bread wheat cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.) Salinity treatments measuring (150mM, 200mM, 240mM ) were achieved by adding NaCl in deionized water. A control (distilled water) was maintained for each cultivar for comparison. Data regarding germination attributes were recorded. Results revealed that increasing concentration of NaCl solution resulted in gradual reduction in seed germination in all wheat genotypes.
