Cone beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a valuable diagnostic aid. It provides three dimensional detailed images of the region of interest with good quality. It allows volumetric analysis and it has short scan times. Ionizing radiation emitted from different radiographic procedures may induce DNA damage and genomic alteration.
