Nerve sparing feminizing genitoplasty with corporal septum excision in non-classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia

TLDR
Nerve sparing clitoroplasty with corporal septum excision is a good option with satisfactory long term results for non-classic CAH patients, however, many more comparative studies are needed to decide the gold standard method for optimal physiologic and cosmetic outcomes inCAH patients.

Vaginoplasty for Disorders of Sex Development

Treatment of patients with the absence or extreme hypoplasia of the vagina may consist in non-operative dilation methods or surgical creation of a neovagina, which is far to be reached among the various surgical subspecialties regarding the optimal method of vaginal replacement.

Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia: Review from a Surgeon’s Perspective in the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century

Outcome of congenital adrenal hyperplasia

TLDR
The quality of life in women with CAH is studied, with particular emphasis on how they cope with genital malformations, genital operations, and chronic disease as well as lifelong medication, and improved psychosocial adaptation is speculated.
