This study examined genital asymmetry in a large sample of men. The probands were 6544 non-delinquent men who were interviewed by the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction from 1938 to 1963. The measures were four indicators of penile and scrotal asymmetry, along with self-reported handedness, from Kinsey's interview protocol. Most men reported some degree of lateral asymmetry in their flaccid penis and in their testicles; less asymmetry was reported for their erect…

The expression of bilateral asymmetry in the hands and humeri : a methodological comparison
TLDR
The results of this study recommend the adoption of a more inclusive approach to the study of upper limb bilateral asymmetry, particular when inferences are to be made regarding handedness.
Cancer and Laterality: A Study of The Five Major Paired Organs (UK)
TLDR
The results suggest that tissue mass in these organs is an important contributor to asymmetry in cancer incidence, and particularly in the lungs and testes, which closely coincided with asymmetries in organ size.
Prevalence of external genital abnormalities among primary school pupils in Ekiti State, Nigeria
TLDR
Prevalence of Congenital external genital abnormalities is still low in this environment but the prevalence of FGC is quite high.
Prevalence of External Genital Abnormalities among Secondary School Pupils in Ekiti State, Nigeria
TLDR
Prevalence of Congenital external genital abnormalities is still low in this environment but the prevalence of FGC is quite high.
Thermal asymmetry of the human scrotum.
BACKGROUND Scrotal temperatures in men have been reported to be either similar on both sides or higher on the left than the right scrotum. We aimed to clarify this discrepancy from new data.
Body Asymmetries: Incidence, Etiology and Clinical Implications
TLDR
The general knowledge of incidence, etiologic factors, and clinical implications of body asymmetries are integrated to achieve a good diagnosis and focus on an appropriate treatment and management plan.
Right–left and the scrotum in Greek sculpture
TLDR
The present study examines data on scrotal asymmetry in more detail, and puts them in the context of Greek theories of functional differences between the right side and the left side.
Asymmetry of Thyroid Lobe Volume in Normal Chinese Subjects: Association with Handedness and Position of Esophagus
TLDR
Thyroid asymmetry is associated with the handedness of subjects and the position of the esophagus and three‐dimensional ultrasound was used to measure the volume of the thyroid lobes.
Erectile dysfunction: an overview.
TLDR
The possibility of treating erectile dysfunction with intraurethral administration of prostaglandin-E1 has recently become available in the USA, and is a therapy more acceptable to the patients and other noninvasive medical therapies are undergoing evaluation.

Handedness in homosexual and heterosexual men in the Kinsey interview data
TLDR
Results failed to demonstrate a difference in handedness, with both groups having rates of non-right-handedness approximately equal to establish norms.

Ethnic differences in testis size: a possible link with the cytogenetics of true hermaphroditism.
TLDR
Based on genetic data on testis size in mice, on embryological findings on the timing of gonadal differentiation in the gonads of XX and XY mammalian fetuses, as well as on a recent model of the genetics of Gonadal differentiation, it is postulated that genes for largetestis size predispose to XX hermaphroditism and those for small testissize to XY herm Aphrodites.
Incidence and descriptive features of testicular cancer among United States whites, blacks, and hispanics, 1973–1982
TLDR
Analysis of ethnic secular trends, using data from comparable geographic areas, showed a consistent increase in incidence among young men for all three ethnic groups, suggesting the impact of quantitative rather than qualitative differences in environmental etiology.
Bilateral asymmetry in bone measurements of the hand and lateral hand dominance.
TLDR
The results suggest an inherent tendency of the right second metacarpal to have more bone than the left regardless of hand dominance, which will increase the bilateral difference in the right handed and reduce it in the left handed.
The Kinsey data: Marginal tabulations of the 1938-1963 interviews conducted by the Institute for Sex Research

Human lateralization from head to foot: sex-related factors.
TLDR
In this study, asymmetries in the size of the two feet were strongly related to sex and handedness, right-handed males having larger right feet and right- handed females having larger left feet, the reverse being seen in non-right-handed individuals.
