  • The people of Tumaco‐La Tolita culture inhabited the borders of present‐day Colombia and Ecuador. Already extinct by the time of the Spaniards arrival, they left a huge collection of pottery artifacts depicting everyday life; among these, disease representations were frequently crafted.
