  • To better understand the evolutionary history of the genus Centaurium and its relationship to other genera of the subtribe Chironiinae (Gentianaceae: Chironieae), molecular analyses were performed using 80 nuclear ribosomal ITS and 76 chloroplast trnLF (both the trnL UAA intron and the trnL-F spacer) sequences.
