Generating User Interfaces from Formal Specifications of the Application

  title={Generating User Interfaces from Formal Specifications of the Application},
  author={Bernhard Bauer},
The generation of the dialogue description from an algebraic specification of the application and its restrictions to different user groups are presented. The idea and motivation for the work is that the development of the application and the UI has to go hand in hand. Moreover, the UI should be generated since the programming of UIs is a time consuming and error-prone task. A formal specification of an application, characterizing the application in an abstract way, allows the automatic… CONTINUE READING
