The proportion of elderly people in China is projected to increase rapidly but there is limited information on status epilepticus (SE) in this population. We evaluated retrospectively the etiology, response to treatment, outcome and predictors of mortality in a group of elderly patients with generalized tonic-clonic SE in Hong Kong, China.
