In this paper, a method for the asymptotic analysis of generalized low-density parity-check (GLDPC) codes and doubly generalized low-density parity-check (D-GLDPC) codes over the binary erasure channel (BEC), based on extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart, is described.
