Grand gauge-Higgs unification of five dimensional SU(6) gauge theory on an orbifold S 1 /Z 2 with localized gauge kinetic terms is discussed. The Standard model (SM) fermions on the boundaries and some massive bulk fermions coupling to the SM fermions on the boundary are introduced. Taking the power-law running contributions from the bulk fields into account, perturbative gauge coupling unification is shown to be realized at around 10 14 GeV, which is a few order smaller than the unification scale…

SU(6) Gauge-Higgs Grand Unification: Minimal Viable Models and Flavor

Gauge-Higgs grand unification theories are models of gauge-Higgs unification that extend the electroweak group into a simple group that includes the color symmetry. The minimal option is a

Comprehensive Analysis of Equivalence Classes in 5D $SU(N)$ gauge theory on $S^1/Z_2$ Orbifold

We comprehensively investigate the existence of gauge transformations connecting distinct boundary conditions (BCs) in SU ( N ) gauge theory on the S 1 /Z 2 orbifold embedded in five-dimensional

The hidden sector variations in the ${\cal N}=1$ supersymmetric three-family Pati-Salam models with symplectic groups from intersecting D6-branes

The gauge coupling relations are found to be highly sensitive to the variations in the hidden sector and one of the models exhibits the gauge coupling unification for a particular solution at the string scale.

Gauge-Higgs Grand Unification

Gauge-Higgs grand unification is formulated. By extending $SO(5) \times U(1)_X$ gauge-Higgs electroweak unification, strong interactions are incorporated in $SO(11)$ gauge-Higgs unification in the

Finite Higgs mass without supersymmetry

We identify a class of chiral models where the one-loop effective potential for Higgs scalar fields is finite without any requirement of supersymmetry. It corresponds to the case where the Higgs

Gauge-Higgs seesaw mechanism in 6-dimensional grand unification

$SO(11)$ gauge-Higgs grand unification is formulated in the six-dimensional hybrid warped space in which the fifth and sixth dimensions play as the electroweak and grand-unification dimensions.

Electroweak Symmetry Breaking and Mass Spectra in Six-Dimensional Gauge-Higgs Grand Unification

The mass spectra of the standard model particles are reproduced in the $SO(11)$ gauge-Higgs grand unification in the six-dimensional warped space without introducing exotic light fermions. Light
