We obtain the Ward identities and the gauge-dependence of Green's functions in non-Abelian gauge theories by using only the canonical commutation relations and the equations of motion for the Heisenberg operators. The consideration is applicable to theories both with and without spontaneous symmetry breaking. We present a definition of a generalized statistical average which ensures that the Fourier images of temperature Green's functions of the Fermionic fields have only even-valued…

Functional renormalization group approach and gauge dependence in gravity theories

We investigate the gauge symmetry and gauge fixing dependence properties of the effective average action for quantum gravity models of general form. Using the background field formalism and the

Conserved Currents for the Gauge-Field Theory with Lorentz Symmetry Group

For the Yang-Mills-type gauge-field theory with Lorentz symmetry group, we propose and verify an explicit expression for the conserved currents in terms of the energy-momentum tensor. A crucial

Remarks on Local Symmetry Invariance in Perturbative Algebraic Quantum Field Theory

We investigate various aspects of invariance under local symmetries in the framework of perturbative algebraic quantum field theory (pAQFT). Our main result is the proof that the quantum

Renormalization of SU(2) Yang–Mills theory with flow equations

The goal of this work is a rigorous perturbative construction of the SU(2) Yang-Mills theory in four dimensional Euclidean space. The functional integration technique gives a mathematical basis for

BRST-BV quantization of gauge theories with global symmetries

We consider the general gauge theory with a closed irreducible gauge algebra possessing the non-anomalous global (super)symmetry in the case when the gauge fixing procedure violates the global

BRST-BV quantization of gauge theories with global symmetries

We consider the general gauge theory with a closed irreducible gauge algebra possessing the non-anomalous global (super)symmetry in the case when the gauge fixing procedure violates the global

General quantum-mechanical setting for field-antifield formalism as a hyper-gauge theory

A general quantum-mechanical setting is proposed for the field-antifield formalism as a unique hyper-gauge theory in the field-antifield space. We formulate a Schrodinger-type equation to describe

Non‐perturbative Quantum Field Theory and the Geometry of Functional Spaces

In this paper we construct a non‐commutative geometry over a configuration space of gauge connections and show that it gives rise to a candidate for an interacting, non‐perturbative quantum gauge

Gauge invariant renormalizability of quantum gravity

Using the Batalin-Vilkovisky technique and the background field method the proof of gauge invariant renormalizability is elaborated for a generic model of quantum gravity which is diffeomorphism
