OBJECTIVE To document the existence of a relationship between apnoea of prematurity (AOP) and gastro-oesophageal reflux (GER) in preterm infants. SETTING Neonatal intensive care unit. PATIENTS Twenty-six preterm infants (gestational age < or =32 weeks) with recurrent apnoeas.
