The minimally invasive laparoscopic approach in the surgical treatment of diseases during pregnancy has become progressively more accepted and applied. In an attempt to overcome the potential adverse effects of pneumoperitoneum on the fetus, gasless laparoscopic surgery (GLS) has been developed.
