Gambrus wileyi (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), a new Cryptine wasp from Florida

  title={Gambrus wileyi (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), a new Cryptine wasp from Florida},
  author={Julieta Alejandra Brambila},
Gambrus wileyi is described from north Florida. Additional distributional data are provided for three other Florida species, G. bituminosus, G. polyphemi and G. ultimus. Gambrus extrematis is included in this work, even though its presence in Florida is questionable.

A Eumenes Wasp and Six Adventive Ichneumonidae New to Hawaii (Hymenoptera)
An opportunity to study the ichneumonids in the collections of the Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Experiment Station and of the Bishop Museum in Honolulu disclosed a number of species adven tive to Hawaii
Ecology, Zoogeography and Taxonomy of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Mesostenines (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae)
The south Texas fauna is compared with mesostenine communities of other semiarid parts of the Neotropics, such as the Peruvian Coastal Desert and the northwest Argentine Subandino, and all these relict or marginal xerophilic faunas are discussed with regard to their origin in wet forest centers of ichneumonid radiation.
Weak Competition among Spartina Stem Borers, by Means of Murder
Although interspecific competition occurs, it does not play a critical role in structuring this community and deficiency in species co-occurrence is likely a result of direct interspecific aggression and murder of larvae within stems, as demonstrated in labo- ratory experiments.
