SummaryThe frequency of gallstones during longterm treatment with the somatostatin analogue octreotide reported in different studies varies from 0% to 50%, the reason for this variation being unknown. Therefore, we examined 58 acromegalic patients undergoing different treatment regimens for the frequency of gallstones.
