Utilizing the SDSS-DR13 spectroscopic dataset, we create a new publicly-available catalog of 1,870 galaxy clusters (GalWeight cluster catalog, $\mathtt{GalWCat19}$) and a corresponding catalog of 38,536 identified member galaxies. The clusters are identified from overdensities in redshift-phase space. The GalWeight technique introduced in Abdullah, Wilson and Klypin (AWK18) is then applied to identify cluster members. The completeness of the cluster catalog ($\mathtt{GalWCat19}$) and the… Expand

Cosmological Constraints on Ω m and σ 8 from Cluster Abundances Using the GalWCat19 Optical-spectroscopic SDSS Catalog
We derive cosmological constraints on the matter density, \om, and the amplitude of fluctuations, \sig, using $\mathtt{GalWCat19}$, a catalog of 1800 galaxy clusters we identified in the SloanExpand
Dynamical mass inference of galaxy clusters with neural flows
We present an algorithm for inferring the dynamical mass of galaxy clusters directly from their respective phase-space distributions, i.e. the observed line-of-sight velocities and projectedExpand
Growth of non-linear structures and spherical collapse in the Galileon Ghost Condensate model
We present a detailed study of the collapse of a spherical matter overdensity and the non-linear growth of large scale structures in the Galileon ghost condensate (GGC) model. This model is anExpand
Simulation-based inference of dynamical galaxy cluster masses with 3D convolutional neural networks
We present a simulation-based inference framework using a convolutional neural network to infer the dynamical mass of galaxy clusters from their observed 3D projected phase-space distribution, whichExpand
Tracing Dark Matter Halos with Satellite Kinematics and the Central Stellar Velocity Dispersion of Galaxies
It has been suggested that the central stellar velocity dispersion of galaxies can trace dark matter halo mass directly. We test this hypothesis using a complete spectroscopic sample of isolatedExpand

An optical catalog of galaxy clusters obtained from an adaptive matched filter finder applied to SDSS DR9 data
Abstract We present a new galaxy cluster catalog constructed from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 9 (SDSS DR9) using an Adaptive Matched Filter (AMF) technique. Our catalog has 46,479Expand
Galaxy cluster virial masses and Omega
To re-examine the rich cluster $\Omega$ value the CNOC Cluster Survey has observed 16 high X-ray luminosity clusters in the redshift range 0.17 to 0.55, obtaining approximately 2600 velocities inExpand
GalWeight: A New and Effective Weighting Technique for Determining Galaxy Cluster and Group Membership
We introduce GalWeight, a new technique for assigning galaxy cluster membership. This technique is specifically designed to simultaneously maximize the number of bona fide cluster members whileExpand
AMICO: optimized detection of galaxy clusters in photometric surveys
We present AMICO (Adaptive Matched Identifier of Clustered Objects), a new algorithm for the detection of galaxy clusters in photometric surveys. AMICO is based on the Optimal Filtering technique,Expand
The Red-Sequence Cluster Survey. I. The Survey and Cluster Catalogs for Patches RCS 0926+37 and RCS 1327+29
The Red-Sequence Cluster Survey (RCS) is a ~100 deg2, two-filter imaging survey in the RC and z' filters, designed primarily to locate and characterize galaxy clusters to redshifts as high as z =Expand
3D-Matched-Filter Galaxy Cluster Finder I: Selection Functions and CFHTLS Deep Clusters

GALAXY CLUSTERS DISCOVERED VIA THE SUNYAEV-ZEL’DOVICH EFFECT IN THE FIRST 720 SQUARE DEGREES OF THE SOUTH POLE TELESCOPE SURVEY
We present a catalog of galaxy cluster candidates, selected through their Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) effect signature in the first 720 deg^2 of the South Pole Telescope (SPT) survey. This area wasExpand
Comparing masses in literature (CoMaLit) – I. Bias and scatter in weak lensing and X-ray mass estimates of clusters
The first building block to use galaxy clusters in astrophysics and cosmology is the accurate determination of their mass. Two of the most well regarded direct mass estimators are based on weakExpand
NEW CONSTRAINTS ON THE EVOLUTION OF THE STELLAR-TO-DARK MATTER CONNECTION: A COMBINED ANALYSIS OF GALAXY-GALAXY LENSING, CLUSTERING, AND STELLAR MASS FUNCTIONS FROM z = 0.2 to z = 1*

How to identify and weigh virialized clusters of galaxies in a complete redshift catalog
Groups or clusters of galaxies whose crossing time is small compared to the Hubble time can be ''weighed'' by the virial theorem. This paper develops a statistical procedure for identifying suchExpand
