OBJECTIVE To test a prosthetic simulator developed to allow persons without amputation to walk like a person with a transfemoral (TF) amputation. PATIENTS Five able-bodied subjects; comparison with data from the literature on persons with TF amputations. SETTING Motion analysis laboratory.
