Even though goal modelli ng is an effective approach to requirements engineering, it is known to present a number of diffi culties in practice. The paper discusses these diffi culties and proposes to couple goal modelling and scenario authoring to overcome them. Whereas existing techniques use scenarios to concretise goals, we use them to discover goals.
