SMART, Solid Modeling Aerospace Research Tool, isthe Vehicle AnalysisBranch of NASA Langley Research Center's computer-aided design tool used in aerospace vehicledesign. Modeling of structuralcomponents using SMART includes the representationof the transverseor cross-wiseelements of a vehicle'sfuselage,ringframes and bulkheads.
