The PCR-based Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis was used to evaluate the genetic relatedness among 12 isolates of Trichoderma obtained from soil rhizosphere of different geographic locations in Egypt. The similarity coefficient values among the isolates ranged from 0.25 to 0.93. The Antagonistic ability of Trichoderma isolates against Rhizoctonia solani and Pythium aphnidermatum as soil borne plant pathogens was studied in dual culture plates.
