The concept of a female entrepreneur does not have a counterpart in a male entrepreneur. Instead, the masculine image of the entrepreneur continues to prevail. In this paper entrepreneurship is depicted as a gendered phenomenon. The talk of a female entrepreneur running a care-centre is analysed using two different methods: an ethnomethodological and a narrative analysis.
