(Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller based on Fuzzy algorithm using VHDL to use in transportation cruising system. The cruising system with Fuzzy concept has developed to avoid the collisions between vehicles on the road. The developed Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) provides a reference for controlling the vehicle speed either increase or decrease. The controlling speed depends on the distance of the preceding vehicle when it gets too close or alert the driver when necessary. The Mamdani…

Performance Analysis of Fuzzy Logic Based PD , PI and PID Controllers

Fuzzy logic based PID controllers are compared with fuzzy logic based PD and PI controllers on the basis of transient response and steady state response and integral absolute error for first order and second order systems.

Performance Analysis of Fuzzy PIDController Response

Improved fuzzy PID controller with methodology and mathematical model is proposed to be constructing to control DC motor, it is considered that DC motor should be considered in terms of transfer function.

VHDL Realization of Hybrid Control Strategy for a Nonlinear System

The Scheme projects a mechanism to adapt to the evolving scenario and orient a strategy to accomplish the desired objective and augurs the need of a well defined control algorithm to charter a corrective action.

Metal chamber temperature control by using fuzzy PID gain auto-tuning strategy

Although PID control scheme is widely employed in industrial control systems, it is hard to search the model-free appropriate control gains for achieving good dynamic performance. The selected

Modified PSO algorithm for multi-objective optimization of the cutting parameters

A modified dynamic neighborhood particle swarm optimization (DNPSO) technique is used to optimize the cutting parameters in turning processes: cutting speed, feed rate and cutting depth and shows the superiority of the proposed approach and confirms its potential for solving multi-objective problems.

Fuzzy multicriteria decision making method applied to selection of the best touristic destinations

A hierarchy of the destinations is obtained, so that the travel agency has the possibility to virtually contract the most desired destinations.

Analysis of direct action fuzzy PID controller structures

The rule decoupled and one-input rule structures proposed in this paper provide greater flexibility and better functional properties than the conventional fuzzy PHD structures.

A systematic study of fuzzy PID controllers-function-based evaluation approach

It is concluded that direct-action controllers exhibit simpler design properties than gain-scheduling controllers, and the Zadeh-Mamdani's "max-min- gravity" scheme produces the highest score in terms of nonlinearity variations, which is superior to other schemes, such as Mizumoto's "product-sum-gravity" and "Takagi-Sugeno-Kang" schemes.

An optimal fuzzy PID controller

The constant PID control gains are optimized by using the multiobjective genetic algorithm (MOGA) thereby yielding an optimal fuzzy PID controller, which preserves the same linear structure of the proportional, integral, and derivative parts but has constant coefficient yet self-tuned control gains.
