  • It has been demonstrated that cocaine will lessen some of the effects of ephedrine, chiefly cardiac output and blood pressure changes. The nature of the finer mechanism of action of these changes has not been ascertained. Because of the many unrelated sites of action it is believed there may possibly be more than one type of mechanism of action involved.
