Based on the material deposited in the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, collected from the Indo‐West Pacific, principally from the New Caledonian region, the present paper reports 117 palaemonoid shrimp species, which belong, respectively, to Anchistioididae (one genus, one species), Gnathophyllidae (one genus, one species), Palaemonidae Palaemoninae (seven genera, nine species), and Palaemonidae Pontoniinae (30 genera, 106 species), including eight new species. The new species are…

TLDR
The new pontoniine shrimp genus, Echinopericlimenes gen. nov, is suggested for four species, usually collected deeper that 300 meters in associations with venomous sea urchins of the family Echinothuriidae (Echinodermata: Echinoidea).
Designation of a new genus Bathymenes for the deep-sea pontoniine shrimps of the ‘Periclimenes alcocki species group’ (Decapoda, Caridea, Palaemonidae), with a checklist of the species assigned to the genus
TLDR
A new genus of the deep-sea pontoniine shrimps, Bathymenes gen. nov., is established for the ‘Periclimenes alcocki species group’ of the genus Periclimene Costa, 1844, mainly distributed in the tropical to warm-temperate Indo-West Pacific waters.
Periclimenes cannaphilus, new species, the second palaemonid shrimp (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea) associated with sibogrinid tube worm inhabiting hydrothermal vents
TLDR
Phylogenetic analysis based on sequences of the mitochondrial DNA COI gene supports the recognition of two clades corresponding to the palaemonid shrimp genus Periclimenes and P. thermohydrophilus, which are closely related to P. cannaphilus.
Deep-sea Pontoniines (Decapoda: Palaemonidae) from the Philippine “Panglao 2005” Expedition, with Descriptions of Four New Species
Abstract Ten species belonging to three genera of the subfamily Pontoniinae were colleted by the deep-sea expedition “PANGLAO 2005” in the Philippines, including four new species of the genus
Designation of a new genus Lipkemenes, with supplementary description and range extension of its type species, L. lanipes (Kemp, 1922) (Decapoda, Palaemonidae)
TLDR
A new pontoniine genus, Lipkemenes gen. nov. lanipes, is established for the ophiuroid-associated shrimp, Periclimenes lanipes Kemp, 1922, which is the only Indo-West Pacific pontonerine shrimp known to associate with an ophi Kuroid host.
On the genus Mesopontonia Bruce, 1967 (Crustacea: Decapoda: Palaemonidae) in Korea, with the description of a new species
TLDR
Significant morphological variation in the rostrum as well as the second pereiopods is documented in M. verrucimanus, although cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) barcode analysis proves this to be infra-specific variation.
Baseline diversity and host relationships of symbiotic caridean shrimps on the coast of northern Taiwan, southern East China Sea, prior to the establishment of a conservation area
TLDR
Results provide useful baseline information on symbiotic shrimps prior to the establishment of a conservation area at this site in 2016, and fill in faunal distribution gaps in the coral reef region between the southern Ryukyu arc and the Coral Triangle.
